Our Story
Built by gamers, for gamers
We opened FusionPlayerWorld in 2019 in a converted warehouse on Smith Street, two minutes from Collingwood station. What started as eight console couches is now a 900m² venue running 40 stations, weekly ladders and Melbourne's friendliest esports community.
Whether you're a Fitzroy local chasing a ranked grind, a first-timer trying VR, or a crew booking out a room for a birthday, our staff are here from open to last light. No membership required — walk in, grab a controller, and play.

VR Arena
A 6m x 6m free-roam VR space with Quest 3 and PCVR titles. Book 30-minute sessions from $25 per player.
Retro Arcade Corner
Restored cabinets from Pac-Man to Street Fighter II, plus a CRT couch running N64 and Mega Drive classics. Free with any booking.
Tournament Nights
Ranked ladders every Thursday and Sunday with cash-pool prizes. $10 entry, casters on the big wall, spectators welcome.
Café & Energy Bar
Single-origin coffee, loaded toasties and a rotating energy-drink tap. Grab a booth between matches — no gaming required.

Frequently asked questions
Walk-ins are always welcome and there's usually a bay free on weekdays. On Friday and Saturday nights, plus tournament evenings, we recommend booking online to guarantee your station. Bookings open two weeks in advance.
Console bays start at $12/hour, RTX PC battlestations at $15/hour, and VR sessions at $25 for 30 minutes. Controllers, headsets and the retro corner are included. We also offer discounted three-hour blocks and student rates on weekdays.
Everyone's welcome. Players under 15 need a guardian on site or a signed consent form for after-school sessions. Tournament nights are 15+, and the licensed bar is strictly 18+ with ID.
Absolutely — private room hire covers up to 16 players with a dedicated host, food platters and your choice of arena. Packages start at $340 for two hours. Email us and we'll build the run sheet with you.
We're open Monday to Thursday 12pm–10pm, Friday 12pm–midnight, Saturday 10am–midnight, and Sunday 10am–9pm. Tournament nights run Thursday and Sunday from 7pm.
